I struggled at one time against being gay I didn't want to be different, I didn't want to be this thing That I didn't really understand This thing that I had learned was shameful Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful I don't ever wanna I don't ever wanna Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful They told me sit down be quiet So now I suffer in silence It's wrong it's wrong I can't deny it As much as I try to fight it I'm wrong, I'm wrong, I'm wrong In the end would death be my release My only release I'm out of touch feelin like a stranger on this earth They don't understand the way that I am It's not the way they planned If its wrong, its a sin In my heart I know that love always wins Product of low self worth Diggin holes in the earth Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful I don't ever wanna I don't ever wanna Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful Don't change me I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful Don't change me I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful Don't change me I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful Don't change me I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful I don't ever wanna I don't ever wanna Don't change me And I won't change you I don't ever wanna be this shameful When I eventually did sort of understand And come to accept who and what I am I have never since that moment Never once have I ever wished That it turned out differently I am thoroughly deeply delightedly happy To be gay

Blood Ties 02:45
In my Irish blood roots run deep Ancestor struggle, the tear they weep Mind is strong but the flesh is weak Like open wounds fresh raw that never bleed Effected by an avalanche of sufferin' The past is blending in History repeats itself See the world state Same problem different date We can break the cycle Time to take the lead Cause come hell or high water Need to heal from the trauma It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know Blood ties All the trauma trauma I'm gon be alright Cause I won't let it define me Blood ties All the trauma trauma We can still heal the wounds With the path of solitude We're living in a time warp Steppin back and forth Past a lesson not a prison Used to grow and make better decisions Took ownership no longer victim Speak truth to the power Hold accountable demons Use abuse and devour Let's face it to heal, share it, release it Proud of where I come from Carry my culture wherever I go Never forget the debt owed To those who came before Create a legacy built on solidarity It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know Blood ties All the trauma trauma I'm gon be alright Cause I won't let it define me Blood ties All the trauma trauma We can still heal the wounds With the path of solitude It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture, in my blood you know It's my culture in my blood you know Blood ties All the trauma trauma I'm gon be alright Cause I won't let it define me Blood ties All the trauma trauma We can still heal the wounds With the path of solitude

This is how I feel Think my heart stopped Try'na live a life Of someone that I'm not Cause it's easier to pretend But I know how it ends I wanna break free From this fear within Cause being me's a sin, yeah If I really fit in Where do I begin Scared I'll never win Teach me, how to Find a way Help me, help you Change your ways Walk through the door Thought I had found a home The warmth it didn't last long Cause now I'm lost and alone I wanna break free From this fear within Cause being me's a sin, yeah If I really fit in Where do I begin Scared I'll never win Teach me, how to Find a way Help me, help you Change your ways I needed you to save me (I need you to save me) I needed you to save me (I need you to save me) Ooh woah Teach me (teach me), how to (how to) Find a way (find a way) Help me (help me) Help you (help you) Change your ways Teach me (teach me), how to (how to) Find a way Help me (help me) Help you (help you) Change your ways (change your ways)

Lady Justice 02:57
Fall on your knees and pray This is the end of our days Fall on your knees and pray Statue of justice, mark her station Face to the castle, her arse to the nation Scale tilted who's side you on Image of a light or the devils spawn Uneven weight separate church and state New laws to recreate Relax and demonstrate Guilty walk free while victims wait Chaos setting in I feel like a 2nd class citizen Bigotry so brutal and swift Taylor, lookin' for the perfect fit All out here dying to be fixed We're just dying to be fixed Oh oh oh you took advantage of me Oh oh oh those threats are so controllin' Cause I didn't plan for you to go and kill all my dreams Revenge so sweet and I'm fallin deep Fall on your knees and pray This is the end of our days Fall on your knees and pray Broken systems oppressive ways Expose deceit, halls of disgrace Black veil of a thousand saints Bodies lay in shallow graves One sacred path The trial of wrath At the pearly gates They might send you back You'll suffer the consequence Zero tolerance Nation of snowflakes Is it insult or a compliment This faith might save my skin No matter what I say I just can't win Oh oh oh you took advantage of me Oh oh oh those threats are so controllin' Cause I didn't plan for you to go and kill all my dreams Revenge so sweet and I'm fallin deep Fall on your knees and pray This is the end of our days Fall on your knees and pray Institution Persecution Revolution Injustice with no solution Fall on your knees and pray This is the end of our days Fall on your knees and pray Fall on your knees and pray This is the end of our days Fall on your knees and pray

about

- Please note that this music includes content that may be triggering or sensitive. Listener discretion is advised -

The title ‘Bigotry & Blood’ and its song contents can be subjective and open to interpretation. The beauty of music lies in its ability to resonate with people in different ways. Listeners may interpret the meaning of a song based on their personal experiences, emotions, and perspectives, allowing them to find their own meaning and significance within the melodies and lyrics.

Having juxtaposition and contrast in terms of meaning, emotional association, and symbolic representation. Referencing the unwillingness to accept or respect diversity, the destructive consequences of bigotry and injustice, which can lead to violence, conflict and the shedding of blood. It represents a harmful and hurtful ideology that can cause division and harm relationships between individuals or communities. Also, references the historical use of blood as a symbol of ethnicity, ancestral ties, and the universal experiences of birth, life and death.

The music is inspired by personal traumas and struggles in regards to sexuality and mistreatment from individuals in society and church institutions, the countless attacks and murders of minorities or those considered different.

I believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to reach people on a deep emotional level. I hope you can relate in some way and find healing. Through my music, I aim to tackle important social issues, challenge societal norms, and encourage listeners to question the status quo. By addressing topics that are often overlooked or misunderstood, I hope to spark conversations, provoke critical thinking, and ultimately contribute to a more empathetic and inclusive world.
